Product Description

A handheld tester for checking five cable types from one unit: RJ45, RJ11, IEEE 1394 Firewire, USB and BNC coaxial. The red body carries a labelled socket for each type plus a BNC connector on top, and the front panel prints a pin chart with a row per cable type and columns for the signal line and pins 1 to 8, so the wiring can be read straight off the LEDs. Six indicators cover Power, Low Battery, Connected, No Connection, Short and Cross. A separate smaller remote unit is supplied alongside the main tester. The packaging describes it as an ergonomically portable hand-held design with a visible LED pin and wire status display.
