Product Description

This adapter converts a USB port into an RS-485 serial interface using the CH340/341 chip. It plugs straight into a USB Type-A port and terminates in a five-position screw terminal block, with the pins marked A, B, TXD, RXD and GND — A carries 485+ and B carries 485-. The transparent blue housing lets you see the board, and the unit measures 7cm long, 2.6cm wide and 1.8cm thick. Install the supplied driver before use. The product images show support for Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8 and 10, macOS and Linux on 64-bit systems, and list it as hot swappable.
